Itinerary
After arriving at the airport, transfer to a hotel in Amman for a restful overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead. A brief of the adventure is planned after dinner.
Set off for an exhilarating day of mountain biking approximately 43 miles north of Amman, in the lush, pine-forested hills of Ajloun. This verdant region offers a refreshing escape from the urban hustle, featuring a network of cycling trails tailored for various skill levels.
Among these is the renowned Ajloun Forest Reserve Soap Trail, a scenic route that promises breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Jordan.
En route to Wadi Rum, take a thrilling detour to Wadi Al Kerak, a rugged terrain just outside the ancient Ottoman walled city of Kerak, renowned for its historic 12th-century castle. Dive into an action-packed day of rock climbing and abseiling down the scenic waterfalls of this area.
The Weida Slabs in Wadi Al Kerak offer limestone cliffs that are perfect for both novice and experienced climbers. Under the guidance of the Jordan Climbing Federation, tackle the lower, safer parts of the slabs or challenge yourself with a 200m ascent for breathtaking views over the Dead Sea.
Complete your adventurous day by abseiling down five spectacular waterfalls and hiking through the mountainous landscapes at the valley’s summit, creating an unforgettable experience of Jordan’s natural beauty and historical legacy.
After breakfast, we start our 4×4 jeeps and drive to the stunning desert landscape of Wadi Rum, often described as “Mars on Earth” due to its striking red sands and towering granite and sandstone mountains. This arid expanse, receiving less than three days of rain annually, is a paradise for adventurers and nature enthusiasts.
Explore Wadi Rum’s vast, alien terrain in your jeep, navigating through ancient canyons adorned with rock drawings dating back over 12.000 years.
You will spend the next 2 nights in an authentic Bedouin camp and learn about the desert culture.
Spend the day with the Bedouin, the desert’s indigenous people, to learn about their resilient lifestyle and rich cultural heritage. Begin by mastering ancient water sourcing techniques, understanding how to locate and conserve water in one of the world’s most arid regions—a crucial survival skill in the desert.
Experience sand cooking and learn to bake bread in desert ovens. Finally, engage in herbal medicine preparation, using native desert plants to create remedies and teas that are essential to Bedouin healthcare. This day promises a profound connection to the traditional ways of the Bedouin, offering practical skills and deeper cultural understanding.
Spend the final night among the bedouins in their authentic campsites.
Start your day exploring the ancient city of Petra, one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. You will explore it with an expert archeologist.
In the evening, depart Petra and head to the Dead Sea, where you’ll spend the night along its tranquil shores, preparing for a day of adventures.
Start your day by experiencing the unique sensation of floating in the Dead Sea’s highly saline water, renowned for its health benefits and mineral-rich mud. After rejuvenating at the Dead Sea, shift gears for an adrenaline-packed adventure in Wadi Mujib.
Tackle the Siq Trail where canyoning activities await — climb waterfalls, jump off cliffs, and slide down natural rock slides. This exhilarating trail offers a mix of easy sections and challenging obstacles, ensuring a rewarding experience full of fun and adventure. Later, return to Amman to savor your last evening in Jordan.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the airport, taking memories of Jordan’s breathtaking landscapes and rich history with you.
